NHV Corporation (NHVC) has signed a use contract with a major tire manufacturer’s factory in Vietnam for an Electron beam Processing System (EPS) monitoring system and begun providing supervisory control and data acquisition services. This is the first time that a use contract has been signed for this system.
The newly introduced monitoring system collects and analyzes operational data in real time on the cloud and, by detecting signs of changes in status, prevents unexpected shutdowns. In addition, in the event of an unexpected shutdown, detailed data is shared immediately to support rapid line recovery. Going forward, the company will actively improve the accuracy of the system and add functions, aiming to roll out the system globally and apply it to all of currently operating EPSs.
[Features]
- Sharing of EPS status data in real time
EPS operational data is collected and stored regularly. In the event of a sudden shutdown, detailed data before and after the shutdown will be immediately stored, and both the customer and NHVC will be notified by email. After notification, NHVC will contact the customer with the necessary measures to help them quickly restore their production line. - Monitoring of signs of changes in EPS status
Key EPS data (accelerating voltage, electron current, vacuum level, etc.) stored on the cloud is monitored, and if a set threshold is exceeded, the customer and NHVC will be notified by email. This enables preventive maintenance and contributes to stable operation.
